MEDTRONIC COVIDIEN Surgipro™ II Monofilament Sutures

Surgipro™ II is a premium non-absorbable, monofilament surgical suture manufactured by Medtronic. It is a specialized suture for surgical procedures requiring permanent tensile strength and minimal tissue reaction.
Composition: Composed of synthetic polymer fibers of Polypropylene and Polyethylene.
Structure: The monofilament design provides a smooth surface with no interstices for bacterial colonization, thereby reducing the risk of surgical site infection.
A significant improvement in the Surgipro™ II line is the reduction of “pig-tailing” (spring-like coiling) when removed from the packaging, allowing surgeons to handle the suture more easily.
