Biosyn™ monofilament absorbable sutures are prepared from a synthetic polyester composed of glycolide, dioxanone, and trimethylene carbonate.
Biosyn suture is a synthetic, absorbable, monofilament suture indicated for general soft tissue approximation and ligation. It is made from Gylcomer 631, a synthetic polyester, and is available in various sizes and needle types.
